42 Worcester has already had some good ideas for themes for 2018 but there are a couple of months without a theme as of yet. Have you got a theme in mind that might inspire others?
42ers know that they don’t *have* to write to the theme, neither do they *have* to stick to the alternative genres—but many of them do! And some poems, written to theme by our new Worcestershire Poet Laureate Nina Lewis, are in her pamphlet Fragile Houses published by V. Press, you can find it by scrolling down this linked page and get your own copy: V. Press books
42 Worcester is always a varied and friendly event on the last Wednesday of each month at Drummonds Bar, The Swan With Two Nicks. The only exception to the ‘last Wednesday’ rule is for the Worcestershire LitFest & Fringe month of June, which we are part of, so in June our event tends to be mid-month.
Take some time out—you know you deserve it—come along and join in or simply listen to the most varied spoken word event in Worcester.
…and have a think about a theme to inspire in 2018, just send it in to: firstname.lastname@example.org No guarantee, mind! We have a selection process 😉

They have also performed at magazine launches, Christmas light switch-ons, a shop window, the back of a lorry, on various boats, the minstrel gallery of Liverpool and town hall and at Silverstone for the Grand Prix” – The Watford Colosseum 2017
